  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Tried a bit recently and looking for a bottle but can't find it anywhere on Long Island. One more reason to move to Tennessee! :frown:

I've never heard of this, but I am a WhiskEy fan (not a big fan of the smoky flavors in Scotch), and the question begs, does it have maple nuances/notes?

Let me know if you want me to try to find you some here in Memphis. There are a couple of quality liquor stores here or I can try to go straight to the distributor. I'll be glad to send some your way.

Thanks Adam, I think I've got it covered but it's nice to know I've got backup just in case. Found out that Julie from Cabin Fever is an SOTL so I invited her to come join the forum.

Glad to know you're gonna get hooked up. I must admit, my interest is now peaked so I might have to hunt some down for me. If things don't work out give me a holler and I'll see what I can find.

Hey Now! Stoked you guys are talking about Cabin Fever :)
Little bit about our Whisky....
Cabin Fever is an 80 proof Whisky Infused with 100 % Vermont Maple Syrup... Grad B of course...
Our Base is a rye blend that has been aged 3 years in NON Charred Barrels that used to hold a Port in them.
We then blend the Maple Syrup into the Whisky... Not stopping there, we chill filter it... SO what happens is that is actually pulls the sugars out of the Whisky leaving only 5.5% residual behind, yet still carries the taste of the Maple.... SO it is not thick, syrupy or give you a headache in the morning sweet.
I tell you Cabin Fever goes great with a nice cigar..... And I have even taken the CF and poured it into a small spritzer bottle and sprayed it onto the cigar.... I let it sit for about 10 - 20 minutes and then light up.... Ridiculously good :)
Hope that you guys get your hands on a bottle soon :) My favorite way to drink it btw is on the rocks ;)
Thanks for supporting your local :)

Thanks for the info and for dropping in to say hi! I will have to try some of this. I'm not one for spritzing a cigar with anything, but if you like it, go for it!

I don't think she'll even see your post Kevin, she'll be fixated on your avatar and plotting the destruction of the "Evil Empire". Julie's a Red Sox fan. Hey nobody's perfect.
