Cigar: Cain Maduro (5.75 x 50)

Cost: Free because a friend gave it to me.

Drink: Barq's Creme Soda

This is a triple fermented 100% ligero cigar that was created by Sam Leccia.

Appearance: This has a maduro wrapper on it. There were no veins showing. The band is simple and classy. The appearance gets a 8/10

Pre-Light: It has a strong flavor that is hard to describe.

Construction: Held an average ash. The ash was kind of flaky. The draw was perfect. The cigar required only a few minor touchups because I am very picky about having a cigar burn perfectly

Taste of the cigar: This cigar has a peppery and woodsy flavor to it. I also picked up a hint of chocolate at one point.

Here is my smoking buddy Henry:

Strength: This is without a doubt a full bodied cigar.

Summary: This cigar was really, really, really, (did I say really?) good. I would definitely these again. I give it a 9/10.

Sounds like a cigar I would like. I love the ash tray. My dog always has to smell my cigar but he gets smoke in this nostrils and I know how that feels.

Niiiice!!! I can't wait to try these - gonna grab a few of them tomorrow!

ps- nice touch with the Oliva ashtray!
Where are you getting them from??

Back to the topic at hand. I smoked the Habano and it kicked my ass. First cigar I have had that I actually put down and saved for later. I didn't eat enough before I smoked it. I smoked the second half after a big ass dinner and still got a little light headed.

Great review Dan. Dan was in contact with me as he was smoking this thing and don't let him fool you, the man was BUZZED!

Dan, should we start training for the Cain event so we can do two of these back to back?:devilhead:devilhead

I think the Cain is stronger than the T110, but the T110 is much more flavorful. I'm a whore for the Tat taste, so take that into account.

Nice review. I picked one of these up from a rep at the Nub Live event today in Troy, MI. I'm looking forward to lighting this bad boy up.

I had the pleasure of reviewing one of these at Bo's in Long Beach. He had a bundle of both the Habano and Maduro on hand from the Oliva rep, whom had been in earlier, and asked if I was interested in trying one. I said, "Hell yes!" and opted for the Maduro. What a delightful cigar! The power was a good full, but it didn't kick my ass, and the flavor was chock full of chocolate, coffee, leather, and toasted nuts. The smoke was absolutely creamy and rich.

Great review on what is sure to become a new favorite of mine. :)

Good point, I agree!

I smoked the habano version & thought it 'lacked' something...

I'd still like to try the Maduro version - Atlantic only had one box though.
