OK, I'm back on the bandwagon, even though I don't like where this is heading.
If they allow free online play and only charge for the social network and addons, then I'm good with that as well. I don't care for the social network part and the addon maps are always a crap shoot. The black ops maps I didn't really care for except stadium, so I'd rather not spend any extra money for maps or addons.

You are cool with it NOW.... lol Wait until it comes out and they really limit the basic online version to the point of an almost online trial game. Then all the cool kids come along talking about how sweet the elite version is. THEN you will make the decision to buck up and take it like a soldier. I will probably end up trying it for at least a month but I will bitch and complain about it the whole time../

Looking forward to picking up my copy and I went with the Elite package as well for the 360. It's not a monthly fee as some have been calling it... it's just pre-paying the DLC for the most part and some other extra goodies the basic game won't have access to.

... 9:00 AM, I realize I have to be in class in 10 minutes. FUUUUUUUU-
So far, I'm liking it a lot. The 2 player split screen is a lot of fun! The one thing I didn't like about Zombies is how large the area you have to cover becomes - It's not practical, after a point, with just two people. The new mode is just combat waves. I'm digging it... Tonight, A bunch of bourbon, some beers, and a MW3 marathon with my housemate.
