Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Whoa...OK now I have to try that because it sounds like it tastes similar to the Diplomatico rum I love so much...Tried the El Padrino. Kind of like an adult candy. The vanilla, sweet brown cooked sugar was amazing. Almost a butterscotch toffee on the nose. Very nice!
Hope you didn't kill that all in one sitting Carlos! This is probably the smoothest blanco I've ever had. I need to try the repo and the anejo...because the price can't be beat. Smooth, not too sweet, not too vegetal. And for reference, this is being consumed with no salt/lime nonsense and at "Texas room temperature"...aka on a tailgate in a hot-as-hell garage with 95 degree heat outside. @Boudie - if you decide to give Blancos a whirl again...here's a strong recommendation.
