Yeah since WE cook so much lol
My wifes favorite fish!
Thats something I have still got to figure out how to perfect on the grill... I do fish OK.. but still have a long way to go before its "great"...
What are you seasoning with? dill? what else?
Looks good 40, I went the set and forget it route today with a pot roast.
Dave do you use cedar planks?
Also wanna guess salt, pepper and maybe granulated garlic...
Damn that looks gooood!
Actually that's cilantro with OJ and will brush with teriyaki ...I will not give this info up often lol
Glazed and done
What time should I be over 40?
ok, im not a big fish guy, but even I want some of that now
I have.. but not with much success.. I managed to catch them on fire a couple of times before I finally stopped trying and just started putting the fish directly on the grill..
I tried soaking them for 24 hours prior... didnt help... tried turning the heat down on the grill and cooking slower.. didnt help...
maybe I just got a really bad batch.. (super dried out wood or something?)... I dunno...
Paired ...flawless victory
Looks raise the 40 eyebrow good!
When you soaked them, did you completely submerge them with a weight, our just let them float? I've never set mine on fire, but I've always made sure they were submerged...
More than likely, though, you got a bad batch. They should singe, but not actually flame up.

Were you using Spanish cedar? LOL.
I grill my fish on top of foil too. Tried the cedar once and it burned up too.
Looks delicious, oh the fish looks good too
I only use foil on the grill for items that will slip through the grate. This one was cooked in the oven. As for burning planks ... Guessing Usually grill is too hot or plank is not soaked enough ...never had the problem
Westbrook the WICB
That looks fantastic! How were they?
im not a huge fan of planking fish, i prefer to use cedar shavings in a small tinfoil ball with some holes poked in it. the lack of fresh air smothers any flame that might kick up. simple seasonings work best, lemon lime, salt pepper garlic, i love seafood, and nothing beats the flavor of fresh seafood!!
and you suck!! those chops made me really hungry!!!
For the fam...I cooked and had to roll out...I'm just getting to last nights salmon lol ill have chops tomorrow gonna get into some good stuff next week
