I'm sitting here smoking a Indian Tabac Candella cigar, do you like Candella wrappers? I'm not really a fan.

Neither am I. When I first got into cigars...ah late 70's, I had a friend who swore by them. I always swore AT them.

I really like almost every IT I've had, but I haven't smoked the Candellas yet. I have a Graycliff Emerald waiting my St. Patty's day herf next week...as you should smoke Candella cigars on that day, cause of the green and such.:grinFU:

Ditto, there seems to be too much of a damp leafy taste for me. Smoked and Astral and one other so long ago I can't remember.

I agree, not a fan of the cadella wrapper. Nice smoke though but weird taste.

I too like the ITs but not the candellas, something is just NOT there for me IMHO.

The most enjoyable candela I've had was a CAO Candela. It still wasn't what I'd hoped. Always wanted to try an Iguana, tho.

well, that may be an exaggeration....but I can't come up with a descriptor for the flavor. I just didn't like it.

I feel the same, I have had them in my hand before but I just could not get past the green so I always put them back.

Well i'm glad I searched out this thread before starting new one. I was going to ask if anyone out there liked these. I like the sugesstion of it for a St Patty's day smoke, but I think I'll wait until march to buy one.

I never cared for the grassy / vegetal flavors that the candela wrapper added.

Donk are you sure is was the Candella that you didn't like or the Indian Tabac? Neither rank real high with me, put the two together and yowzer...recipe for disaster!
