(from top25cigar)
# Size: 5 1/2 x 52
# Shape: Robusto
# Wrapper: Cameroon
# Filler: Hond., Nic.
# Binder: Nicaragua
# MSRP: $4.40 (I got this in a 8 cigar sampler for about $10 total)
This won't be as detailed as my normal reviews, as I was herfing with some buddies, and just jotted down some notes between conversation and puffs (when I remembered)
It was a very nice looking wrapper. No giant veins or anything out of the ordinary.
It lit up fairly easily and evenly. The draw was relatively firm, but it allowed for lots of dense smoke.
On to taste. This was my first Cameroon, so I didn't have any expectations going into this. Initial tastes were subtle classic tobacco flavor / leather with a nice creamy smoke. Taste lingered on the palate, so I guess that's called "a long finish." Later, the cigar got a bit spicy and maybe a bit floral?
Just about after half way, I noticed a strong tasting "tar / sap / nicotine" build up. I wasn't smoking particularly fast, and any attempt to draw after I noticed that produced a more pungent, harsher smoke.
So all in all, I did like this cigar. Not very expensive, and a good intro to Cammie wrappers.
