:scratchhe Funny stuff huh? I was outbid on the PC's and then I win the box of Churchills...$15 dollars LESS than what the PC's went for. I like the 5 Vegas line and pick up some every now and then, but I didn't know that they were rolling up some at the ERdlH shop. I'm kind of interested to see how much different these will be than the regular 5 Vegas.

Another decent pick-up was the T. Mercedes Preferido.

Pretty decent cigar for the price. It's not the greatest cigar out there, but does dominate the field in the under $2 range of cigars.

After looking at the description again, I don't know if it was a typo on CBid's part.I thought ERdlH is in Miami and Tabacalera Cubana S.A. was in Esteli Nicaragua. I guess I'll have to wait until the box gets here next Monday.

Agreed, odd but still a good buy whoever makes it -- I thought that the cinco vegas line was re-blended (not originally) by La Aurora factory in the dominican... at least that's what I read somewhere online, but we all know how reliable the internet may be for information...

Again, wherever it's from, you made out well on those!
Just my 2 cents,
ZugbugPete

Good snag. Seems like PCs and robustos are the most popular sizes - so it's no surprise that the churchills went for less.

Sweet. This week I got an email out of the blue:

Qty: 1
Price: $1.00

Sub-total: $1.00

Didn't remember bidding, they probably closed the lot on accident or something.

LOL! That's probably one of the best scores around! I knew this guy that got a box of La Gloria Figurado's for $1 because the auction page got lost after he put in a bid. Didn't show up again until it ran out of time.

I've really been on the outs with C-bid lately. I bid on and won a supposed VSG round Belicoso. Now I've won a few of these in the past and no problem, but this one had a wrapper that was split to hell and back. Not to mention the fact that this one had a slight box press to it. I was always skeptical of these, but I'm comfortable in believing these were not originals. Of course it is just my opinion. I then waited 2 weeks to get return postage so I could send it back to them. :sadstare:
