  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Just received an email from a vendor about this very subject and while I don't give a rat's patootie about a definitive answer, I'm curious about one thing mentioned. It was stated that cutting your cigar with the cello on increases the lifespan of your cutter by not dulling it as quickly.

"It also is great to cut your cigars with the wrappers on, as it keeps the blade clean and sharp much longer."
Hmmm

PS
Sorry Kevin I know you have nightmares about this thread.

Please NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I saw that question on Puff.com and was so glad we weren't having those things!

EDIT - How can cutting more (for it's what ye do) keep the blade sharper? If using a dull cutter, ye might avoid the wrapper being damaged as much (I haven't experimented); but a good cutter should last without hocuspocus supersticious techniques.

My thoughts exactly. I guess the next time I cut chops I'll leave the butcher paper on to keep my knife sharp. :glassesgr

No need to thank me gents. Just my way to keep giving to the community!

Damn! Is this thing still going? Ah, legacy... not what I'd hoped for, but more than I probably deserve.....

"I don't care for Cello, or single bags. I like the way sticks look in a humi. Also I love the smell of a humi full of sticks all together...."

I'm with Donk on this one!

It is all too confusing. That is why I buy cabinets (eh greg)
You must cello the cabs! Otherwise, you run the risk of your cabinets marrying.

Then, on top of all that, your humidors flux capacitor may not reach the adequate power for proper functioning (1.21 Jigawatts).
