  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Wouldn't you like to know?
We had a box of ERDM Choix Supreme in the store a couple of months back that we had to send back. The color was a sickly greeny yellow. Every so often I come across a cigar that the colour looks off and turns me off. There are great forms of each colour that you listed but there are also nasty versions of each. Like the dyed maduros as well.

Oh man I thought you were Canadian. You are spelling like an american. colour for us Canadians

I usually gravitate towards the dark end of the street, but I'll smoke just about any color wrapper, including candelas (which I like a few times a year for a change of pace).

I love cigars, but just can't wrap myself around enjoying candela or barber poles minus (AF BTW)

I admit, usually going to the B&M on a whim I'll usually get a stick I haven't heard of or tried typically based on ring size, shape, and color. I know, all of those characteristics don't influence the sheer taste of a cigar. Its just my comfort zone, and I like it there. With that being said, I like 50 or larger ring gage, belicoso shape, and super oscuro to ligero.

Its kind of freaks me out to see the greenish colored cigars, and knowing that some people dye the maduro color.

However, I like all cigars. I'll smoke just about anyone of them, regardless of shape, size, or color.

It's really a mood thing for me. I generally gravitate toward medium brown.

Also, what does the XD I keeps seeing mean?

I guess its not so much color but the flavor derived from a particular wrapper leaf. Yes the leaf makes the cigar have a color but there are many different shades of each leaf type. So it depends on what i like. I have never had a candella but have had as far as i know every other kind of wrapper and they all have there own wonderful traits.

I don't like greenish looking sticks... Don't know why, but I just walk the other way from them.
Light or Dark is fine with me...

Not real big on color , its more about taste for me. I like a nice looking wrapper but hey thats just for looks ,just like the color. Other than the given different types of leaves give it a flavor all its own.
