"CIGARS" on customs document

Was reading over at the CA forum http://forums.cigaraficionado.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/7666095/m/163108307/p/1 that some are now finding the word CIGARS placed on the customs document and was wondering what others here are finding?

I received a box yesterday that was not marked as such.

From what I heard all Swiss exports are now say what is in the package when they are sent. Now if u were to buy cigars from the swiss (i know some of u like swisher sweets)...the package "should" declare that there are cigars inside.

Yes - it's a new regulation. A few friends have recieved at least a half dozen in with the new labeling. Makes me nervous though.

got a swiss shipment in yesterday and there was no mention of cigars anywhere...

I received a shipment in early January with no mention of cigars on the box.

And I pray my future purchases follow the same trend!

Those who have not received "cigars" clearly written on there doc yet don't hold your breath. As new as last week. From a close source. lol

I have received quite a few. They send a letter stating you can claim the contents and you can be fined. You ignore the letter and the vendor reships. I have yet to see someone fined from one of these types of confiscations.

Thanks that's good to know. I would guess there will be more confiscations now, which is going to jack up the prices for us.

A few of the "non-Swiss" vendors are sourced by Swiss warehouses.
