I have driven a few cool cars (and owned a few) in my day. I got to drive a clients Ferrari F430 in f@#k me red color! He just threw me the keys and said to take it out and come back later and meet them at this Jazz club in downtown cedar rapids Iowa.....man was that cool...and wouldn't you know it when my wife and I get to the club there are about 30 people standing out front and there is a spot to park right in front of the door...I paralel parked that sob, opened the door for the wife, hit the alarm, and walked in the club with a buncha folks salivating! I felt like a million bucks! So...give me your stories!

Right before Emmitt Smith broke the NFL rushing record, the Dallas Cowboys bought him a Blue Ferrari. I got to take it around the block before he took possession of it!

Other than that, cars don't do a whole lot for me....

I drove a couple good ones:

Plymouth Prowler ( not very powerful but no doubt unique )
Lamborghini Gallardo rag top
Aston Martin DB7
Corvette Z06
57 Vette

Couple of others too, but they stand out the most.

Every morning I drive a 1992 classic ford explore with a rear passenger window that will not stay up all the way, the radio doesn't work, the heat works, the tires don't seem to hold air, and all I have to pay for is the gasoline.

I think this is my first and last car I will consider my own. But I guess it depends on were I have to go for my job when I get out of school.

My favorite was a Hummer complete with auto grenade launcher and gecal 50 gatling gun. Even the 68 Vet L88 I drove is a distant second to that.

I once got to drive a one-off custom hand-built mid-engine Rock Crawler buggy up a gnarly slickrock wall/shelf/obstacle in Moab, Utah (center of the off-road universe). I don't know how much it cost to build, but other similar buggies run anywhere from $40K to $50K. The really nice Comp rigs can knock on the door of $100K, but this wasn't quite at that level.

Got to drive a very famous Napa Valley Winery owners Ferrari 308 to wash it. After that, I've owned an 89 mustang lx 5.0 tricked out that I've had up to 140 and my 69 chevelle for brute power.
