I'm in no position to be even looking at custom pipes at the moment, but as soon as I am able to add a custom to the stable I want something from Cody first... Absolutely love the BOTL pipe and wish I could have gotten in on that.

You do realize that's a standard production Peterson, not a custom pipe, right?
Nothing wrong with that at all, just thought you were looking for a hand-made artisan piece.
IIRC, the Killarny is one of their more popular lines. You should be able to shop around and find some competitive pricing on that Petey. Regardless, still a nice looking pipe! Make sure you show us pictures once you pull the trigger, and let us know how it smokes!

Here's a similar one, a cleaned up estate pipe off eBay that could save you some money. Probably a higher grade than the Killarny, too, but you'd have to do the research as I couldn't say for sure.

Also choose between the P-lip(directs smoke to the roof of the mouth to minimize tongue bite, but doesn't allow you to run a cleaner through the stem) or the fishtail(regular)stem...

OR, if you wanted a classic english shape like that from an interesting company, you could look at invicta briars. i have one of their rhodesians i picked off the 'bay, it's a charmer, and am planning on scoring one for a buddy new for his b-day.

It would be a good thread to consolidate the information on and use as a quick reference.

I know makers come and go, but some basic editing would cure that.

Just a thought. Also really enjoy the growth in the pipe section I have witnessed over the past year.
