  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Just one?
Cuba, I suppose.

"What cigar-producing country makes your favorite cigars?"

I immediately turn this simple question into a terribly complicated one. To me, Cuba is the closest thing to a country that produces cigars. Certainly, a number of my favorites are grown and produced in Cuba. And, I think that most of the puros I smoke are from Cuba. But others? If my favorite cigar had wrapper grown in Ecuador, binder from Nic and the cigar is rolled in Miami on the thighs of Cuban virgins....then what would my answer be? That's assuming that I could even determine where all the tobacco in a cigar was grown. I have no clue most of the time. And I think that many manufacturers and wholesalers prefer it that way. The industry seems to thrive on the 'mystery'.
