BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Looking at the calendar the best days for me will be Friday or Sunday. Going to a 60th bday surprise party Saturday afternoon then Stevie wonder Saturday night.
What's the best cigar store in DC? Draper's? Does the DC location have a nice view? @mistaforty I'll let you know my schedule once I figure it out.
Naw couple of super select places will have that I can check on the rooftop bars in the area but for the most part they don't allow smoking. Shelley's is only blocks from the White House but no view and same for drapers. If you're in Bethesda you will be near drapers and civil. Neither drapers has a bar civil IS a bar and restaurant ( they serve from the restaurant next door) if you want to bring lawn chairs yeah we can sit on the mall and have one or at Haines point. Only other bars in the area are ozio downtown 219 just across the bridge in old towne everything else is 20 plus minutes outside of the city.
If this ends up on the VA side of the river, I'll do my best to make it. Just let me know when something is pinned down.
I totally understand wanting a view if you're in from out of town. DC is a city that everyone should experience at least once. Unfortunately, as has been mentioned, smoke + drink + view is going to be hard to come by. You can basically pick two.

Naw like I said there are a couple spots. I found one...just working my connects. May have to be lunch time fri or Sunday.
Sunday would probably work best for me.
I'll keep one eye on this thread. Weekends have been nuts, but I don't know yet about first one in Oct.
Consider stopping into Signature. I've not been in the Bethesda location - only been to the one on Wisconsin a few times but it had good lounge, good selection and good prices.

They open at 3 on Sunday. Let me know. Works for me Saturday works since its early I have a few hours.
We can always get started early anywhere but this one meets most of your criteria.

Made the res for 3:00 Sunday for 4 if anyone else wants in. The observatory rooftop bar graham hotel in Georgetown.
Any way we can do it earlier around 1 pm?
The rooftop spot opens at 3 if you just want to meet up we can meet at any time
