  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Had a great time in Arlington yesterday meeting BOTL and CP members at Tobacco Road. Frank, Mike, Duane, aftercall, codemachine,Nosmo King, and all the others I can't remember. Hey! I'm old OK.
Thanks mr mac (Mike) for the Vegas Robaina Clasicos [Lonsdale I think?]
We got to talking about cheap cigars so I traded my newest pleasure, a panatela Flor de O, for a a nice bundle yard cigar from Tropical from Electric Sheep (Duane)

I had to leave before all the food got out but what was coming sure looked good. The fellowship of cigar smokers and the exchange of ideas and knowledge makes these get-to-gethers most pleasurable. Thanks to Mike and J and the other guys at Tobacco Road for making everyone feel right at home. Wished I could have met J but it's a big place and I was told he was out back manning the grill during to time I was there.

Couple of quick photos I took from my iPhone...not exactly great quality since the lighting was low and the camera phone doesn't have a flash. LOL

Wish I woulda taken a couple of pics while Brett and Brazilla were still there. Oops!

That's Jay (Altercall) and Mr. Mac sitting on the couch

FrankN and Mike (sitting on the pool table)

Brad (Nosmo King) cleaning up his ash droppings

Codemachine working on a long ash...it lasted about halfway before it dropped in his lap

Pat (Mr. Z) and Jeromy (impluse1977) smoking their pipes, lookin' all serious and shit

I gave it to you, but you wanted to use your camera. Plus, I was downstairs at the grill half the time. When I got back I was too cooked to take pics. 106 Saturday!

Looks like I missed a good time, just joining the group. I live just outside Tyler in the small town of Arp. I have been smoking cigars for about five years or so now. Hope to make the next party, not far from here to Dallas

Just wanted to thank all the BOTL guys for a great time this weekend. Jay, Duane, Frank, Impulse, Codemachine, Braz (bro... sorry about the meltdown on that other forum. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth!) and all the others that were there, you are all too generous! I had a blast and look forward to that special event in August (21st to be exact) at the same place. There will be a killer surprise at the event. I hope to see you all there...
