I just bought a run of the mill Ipod Shuffle for mowing our 2 acres. Serves it purpose.

I have a 40gb Creative Zen Xtra....love it, but it is a little bulky...Course, that is the trade off (well, was when I was in the market) for something with that large of a capacity.

I have an iPod shuffle for walking or biking, and it's not bad. It holds 112 mp3s, and it is really lighweight. It took me a while to figure out how to get iTunes to stop changing my mp3's to those AAC files.

My other mp3 player is a 40 gig Zen extra, with about 16 gigs of music, and 14 gig's of jpeg, and mp4's. It isn't as sexy as an iPod, but I can change the battery in it, (iPods can't), I can drag and drop mp3's using explorer, and I can use it to transfer files from my computer to others. I am not encumbered by any sort of DRM, and it was fairly cheap.

My gf has the 60 gig video, and it is really cool, but I'll stick with ole Betsy for a while.

I've got a 2nd or 3rd generation (I always get the generation stuff confused), but the screen just decided that only half of it wanted to work. I really don't want to get a new one just for the button layout, but I guess I'll have to now. I've got a friend who got the replacement plan things on his, and he bought a 10G, and through trade ins it has become a 40G video with no more money out of his pocket!

Don't have one, not sure if i'll get one. XM is coming out with a portable reciever that also play mp3's. I'll wait for Sirius to come out with something similar.
