  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Best bet is to find an event with Marvin Samel and go to it. They were made for his wedding and he only gives them out at special events. Thats how I got mine.

Yeah he doesn't do many events. He has one almost three hours away from me halloween night. I just met him saturday, it was at a shop event not a DE event so he didn't bring any. Wish he did, would've made my 100 mile round trip drive well worth it.

He came to Drapers for an event in May and then had a seperate special event the same night at Civil. I was lucky enough to get 2 tickets and got the Bashert there. I will see him Saturday at the DC mobile herf but he is probably only bringing Nica Rusticas for that. Good luck on the search.

Thanks! I have smoked two nica rusticas and I still have one. They are pretty good. Hope you enjoy it if you get one

It was on another forum and I have dealt with that guy before so he is trustworthy.

I didn't buy because it was, and is too limited and if I dig it I am sure I won't be able to find enough.

That fellow finally decided to keep these babies since he is not chasing Marvin Samel any more.

What?!? I've never heard of someone selling that many.

So honestly, why do you seek out the Bashert? It's just a FFP with a different band. When I talked to JD at an event he said it's the exact same cigar so I'm confused as to why people search so hard for them.

The Bashert could be the one LP that I'm least interested in.

Actually this is incorrect. The filler is slightly different and the wrapper is different. The wrapper was one used exclusively for the Bashert. G1

According to Marvin, it is a different blend, with the same Capa and binder as the FFP, but with one of the Ligero leaves in the FFP replaced with a Seco leaf to tone down the strength a bit, and a bit more flavor.

That's interesting because it was conveyed in our conversation that they were the same cigars. Even his video description says FFP.

I guess they were made for Marvin so he should very well know! Good to know Brooks!
