I know its wishful thinking but I am looking for a bashert. If anyone has a extra one they are willing to part with please let me know.
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Yeah he doesn't do many events. He has one almost three hours away from me halloween night. I just met him saturday, it was at a shop event not a DE event so he didn't bring any. Wish he did, would've made my 100 mile round trip drive well worth it.Best bet is to find an event with Marvin Samel and go to it. They were made for his wedding and he only gives them out at special events. Thats how I got mine.
Thanks! I have smoked two nica rusticas and I still have one. They are pretty good. Hope you enjoy it if you get oneHe came to Drapers for an event in May and then had a seperate special event the same night at Civil. I was lucky enough to get 2 tickets and got the Bashert there. I will see him Saturday at the DC mobile herf but he is probably only bringing Nica Rusticas for that. Good luck on the search.
What?!? I've never heard of someone selling that many.I have a chance to buy like 10 or 12 from I guy but I didn't pulled the trigger for some reason I still don't know.

So honestly, why do you seek out the Bashert? It's just a FFP with a different band. When I talked to JD at an event he said it's the exact same cigar so I'm confused as to why people search so hard for them.
Actually this is incorrect. The filler is slightly different and the wrapper is different. The wrapper was one used exclusively for the Bashert. G1So honestly, why do you seek out the Bashert? According to Marvin, it is a different blend, with the same Capa and binder as the FFP, but with one of the Ligero leaves in the FFP replaced with a Seco leaf to tone down the strength a bit, and a bit more flavor. So honestly, why do you seek out the Bashert? That's interesting because it was conveyed in our conversation that they were the same cigars. Even his video description says FFP.Actually this is incorrect. Can't imagine DE doing that! Hahaha! We should all know the game by now but for some reason we tend to not... :hammersmasounds like quite a lot of differing information out there. imagine that!
I guess they were made for Marvin so he should very well know!
