yea.. once it rains here.. supposed to be today or tomorrow then i will have to figure something out but until then i will let it ride

How about the moisture absorbtion only stuff, usually small packets (boveda size) they ship with electronics. If you could find it in bulk maybe it would work better than beads in your area.
When I lived in Houston (pretty f'n humid) I didn't have much of a problem probably cause the AC was running in OT mode causing a greatly reduced RH in the house.
I have about 2 pounds of those packages... I keep them in a zip-lock that has lots of little holes punched in it, and will put it in the humidor if RH gets too high. Works like a charm.

Have a desktop and 3 travel humis I keep 60% beads in. My version of a drybox. Like most cigars better after being stored at 60% prior to smoking.
