Hey I went to Bottle King today. Guess what was on sale with club card? Eagle Rare 10 yr old! $23.99 for a bottle I think I paid. Didn't have any bourbon in the house anyway.

Nice grab Josh! I picked up some Eagle Rare 17 year today. Had to pick something up at a particular shop any way and they had like 4 bottles! I plan on cracking it open asap to see what it's like so that if I love it I can head right back and pick up more.

Well I can say I like the 10 yr. I some on the rocks last night to try it out. Has a nice oak flavor with some sweetness that doesn't overdo it.

Just poured some 17 year. It's good. It didn't grab me and throw me down on the bed and tell me to beg for mercy like the Stagg did. Not that that's bad, but I'm going to have to give this a few more shots. It didn't scream, "GO OUT AND BUY MORE NOW!"

Well, I held off buying the 17, they have like 10 in stock right now (they have none of the 10 y.o left :cryloud so it'll be there if I want it....consequently, me and the chick drank through 3/4 bottle of my 10 y.o. yesterday while watching the races.

The 10 is pretty damn good...tons of orange and molasses on the finish.
