  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Still good! Been drinking a lot of Maker's Mark lately. The Eagle is a tad bit stronger :eyequiver

Hey I went to Bottle King today. Guess what was on sale with club card? Eagle Rare 10 yr old! $23.99 for a bottle I think I paid. Didn't have any bourbon in the house anyway.

Nice grab Josh! I picked up some Eagle Rare 17 year today. Had to pick something up at a particular shop any way and they had like 4 bottles! I plan on cracking it open asap to see what it's like so that if I love it I can head right back and pick up more.

Well I can say I like the 10 yr. I some on the rocks last night to try it out. Has a nice oak flavor with some sweetness that doesn't overdo it.

Just poured some 17 year. It's good. It didn't grab me and throw me down on the bed and tell me to beg for mercy like the Stagg did. Not that that's bad, but I'm going to have to give this a few more shots. It didn't scream, "GO OUT AND BUY MORE NOW!"

Well, I held off buying the 17, they have like 10 in stock right now (they have none of the 10 y.o left :cryloud:) so it'll be there if I want it....consequently, me and the chick drank through 3/4 bottle of my 10 y.o. yesterday while watching the races.

LOL. Don't worry about finding more ER 10. It's always around. I'm just about to finish up the last bit in my glass and go pour some more. Still not too impressed, but it's not bad.
