  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hehehehehehe.

Now to the culinary geek response:

Sheep has three life stages. The young, still breastfed sheep, is called lamb. Once it's grown and has started eating solids, it becomes a hogget. The elder, stronger flavoured, sheep is the one called mutton.

Then why do you hear about people eating lamb, and mutton stew, but never hogget? Or is what we call "lamb" really "hogget?"

Usually, when they give ye mutton; it can be either mutton or hogget. The only difference is the strenght in flavour and a tad in the tissue. Other than that, it's the same.

Doesn't that look yummy!
Then what about this, Greg?

That pic looks pretty good, actually. The first one reminds me of the TV show "Bizzare Foods". (Which is one of my favorite shows!)

Great show but I really can't stand the simple personality of Andrew Zimmern, I am more of a Anthony Bourdain fan. Now Bourdain hosting Bizzare Foods, would be :blob:
