  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Favorite cigar lately?

I'm really enjoying the La Gloria Cubana Artesanos de Miami Gran Corona Especial, I had one the other day and just had to buy a box. I picked one up today, such a tasty smoke!!

Smoking an ashton (Imperial I Think), got it in a sampler. And you know what, it is damn good. I thought this cigar was overpriced leather, but this one is changing my mind. The fonseca toro grande is a damn well priced cigar as well.

I'm not familiar with these Connoisseur Selections from Holt's. Could you elaborate please?
House brand for Holts (holts.com) made by Don Pepin Garcia. They have to be aged a few months. The first time I smoked one if was new from the box and I was very disappointed. Left them for four months and wow. Excellent cigar for the price. I am smoking th Knights right now and they are excellent after five months. Vperalman turned me on to these and the need to age them. I will always be grateful.

I have really been enjoying LGC MDor #4-2002 lately. Never was into the floral taste...but it's a really nice change of pace. Usually, I'm smoking very full bodied in your face cigars but the LGC needs to be sipped. It forces me to take my time and just enjoy. Wonderful little cigar.
Love the LGC Medaille d'Or No.1.. ageing some No.4's though I found them to be some what stronger than the no.1's but lately been smoking Punch Punch.

Thank you for the information and the tips on the aging. I'll have to try some of these.

Ive been spoiling myself...what use to be a once in a while CC, has turned into a "Smoke if you got'em, Lets see how fast we can smoke them!" type of mentality....

Ive been enjoying, Monte Petite Edmundos left and right...here and then a PSD4...PLPC for breakfast...but I have to say that, in the last week, the best stick i smoked was a WC Veruco....good damn!
Well...you certainly are smoking some very tastey CC...3 very good cigars.

I guess Chuck and I are the only ones that smoke the budget lines and like them!

I like Los Statos Delirios. I smoke them like crazy and burn through a box of 10 a week. I have probably 10 boxes left and probably going to be getting another 15 tomorrow.

It's a very cheap machine made cigar in case you are not familiar with them...the last 3 boxes I got I paid a whopping $67 for 150 cigars.

I just bought some of my favorite budget line. The don Tomas Cameroon perfecto #1. It;s a little figurado shape, for $47.00 for a box. A great half hour ride.

Awesome little cigar. Headbanger sent me some aged ones that were great.
