awesome thank you. I'd never considered collecting cigars before seeing as I enjoy smoking them so much but this makes me reconsider haha

I smoked one a few weeks ago but without having smoked one about a decade ago it is hard to say what these originally brought to the table. But the bottom line is the packaging is beautiful and the cigars were very smooth and very mild. If I come across more it is not something I would pass up on simply for the fact that they are one of the most unique collectors items I have ever seen in this industry.

I had one a couple weeks ago, not bad. Good flavors, mild. Didn't take notes but a pleasant experience.

Kurt must have brought them to the show this year as a one time release. I'll tell ya, he's got an eye.

He found a bunch of these and maybe I'd just gotten a bad one, but apparently they had been stored in humidity for the 16 years. There's another one called the Duo that he got and it's just out of this world mild and tasty and smooth. And I do believe they were supposed to retail for around 4 or 5 dollars. (that's for a 16 year old dominican puro, I believe)

These are available at Best Cigar Prices: http://www.bestcigarprices.com/cigar-directory/erte/erte-seven-deadly-sins-cigar/879-110753.htm or for free when purchasing certain items like the 7-20-4 1874 Series Collection Sampler (http://www.bestcigarprices.com/cigar-directory/7~20~4/7~20~4-1874-series-collection-sampler-cigar/863-83453.htm) I got both for $35 shipped just now using coupon code COMEBACK25 entered at the promo page (http://www.bestcigarprices.com/promos/).
The code is now expired unfortunately. That was fast haha.

This is from the 1999 edition of "Perelman's Pocket Cyclopedia of Cigars" for Erte cigars:
Handmade in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Debuted in 1998
Wrapper: Indonesia
Binder: Ecuador
Filler: Dom., Mexico, Nicaragua
Medium Bodied
The description mentions seven specific types of tobacco. However, only 5 countries are listed.

Hope this helps.
