My dad has been smoking a pipe for decades, and since I'm a dad now I figure I should too. So I'm ready to take a shallow plunge to see if it's something I'll enjoy like I do cigars. So i ask you, brothers, if my idea to start off is a good one, or if I might be missing something. Here is what I'm thinking:
I'll get me a couple corn cobs, the Missouri meerschaum brand. I figure I could have one to try an aromatic, and one for non-aromatic baccys.
For the aromatic I thought the Drew Estate Central Park sounds nice.
Non-flavored in not so sure. I'm really interested in Tsuge Ryujin, but maybe that's a bad place to start. I also thought maybe Dunhill Early Morning.
Beyond that, I don't really know what else is need. Pipe cleaners and a tool, I reckon.
Any thoughts or advice for me? I'd like to avoid the newb mistakes I made when starting cigars. Thanks fellas.
