I agree with James Hetfield from 83-98. When the 2003 album (I can't even say the name, good call Bob Rock) was released, it showed front and center that his voice had declined drastically. Sad but true.
But during his heyday, he was something else.

Yep, Freddie gets a vote for sure. I also have to admit that Meatloaf is a guilty pleasure. I also admit to knowing nothing of their other work but Disturbed's recent cover of The Sound of Silence...well...wow. And one more: David Clayton-Thomas of Blood, Sweat & Tears.

There are tons more out there that I believe fall into the "rock and roll" category...
I would rather brush my teeth with a shotgun then listen to queen, aerosmith, ect...
