  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Just picked me up a single plate propane heater for the porch. Hopefully it is big enough to provide the heat I want. It doesn't get super cold here, so should work out ok. About to go put it together and try it out with my morning coffee. And a stick.

I've noticed those omit better heat from the side the full frontal but still does the job .. Your knees and legs are toasty, chest not so much lol
Yeah, that actually is from the side. My right side was fine, left side got a little chilled, fortunately the chair I was sitting in is steel mesh so heat is able to circulate around under so my butt didn't get too cold :)

I have been using this beast in my garage for the last 3 years. It's like a jet engine, plus I use the cleaner burning kerosine (can use 3 different fuel options).
I stick the back out the garage door, then bring door down on top of it. So just the ass is sticking outside. Heat is not a problem!!!

Smoked a Bolivar in my garage with the door cracked during an extended lunch today. It's 36* outside. Some of you guys think that's warm, but over here in the PacNW, it may be cool all year long, but it's not supposed to be actually cold!

I had my little space heater on full throttle, but it wasn't nearly enough. I was freezing even sitting directly in front of it, even while wearing my down jacket. I need to get a vent fan installed and quick, this door-open thing is ridiculous.

Those are bad ass but it was too loud for me to use on my porch. But for those few seconds everything was nice and warm.

True on noise. BUT by sticking the back ass out the garage and bringing door down to rest on the the top handle the noise is much less....maybe not for the neighbors! LOL.
It's actually not too bad considering the BTU's which are controllable as well. If I had the garage electric wired for higher power I would get an industrial permanent heater.
Hate feeling cold, ruins any good cigar.
Cheers!
