My Newair did the opposite, the cooling unit would run out of control , I just fixed it by unplugging the units and now just use boveda packs , been that way for years ……

View attachment 177109Your thermo electric cooler should look something like this. You’d need a voltage meter to see if you are getting current I currently do not know what voltage you should get. I’m a rookie but I play with wires on other stuff. I grabbed two of these for a different project but I’ve decided to not use them on a larger wine cooler. Might steal the fans from them but that’s not helping the current topic

If all else fails just cut the red wire.

I use to have a wineador years ago. I moved and gave it to my brother in law. I’ve been looking into buying a unit ready to go. I was looking at the models with heat also, after reading this I think not. My house rarely gets below 65 in the winter my wife won’t let it!
