Broadway Joe
Formerly Havana Joe
Ok, let me preface this by saying that this sounds like and probably is a newb question, but my previous theory seems incorrect and I'm sure others have the same question.
Why is it that some smokes develop that Nasty Ass tar that seeps through the mouth of the cigar? I can't stand that and it ruins a smoke! I used to think it was because when you were smoking, you were pulling to hard and that drew the tar out, but my most recent experience proved that wrong. The cap was sufficiently cut, so the air flow wasn't restricted??
On another note, the smoke that this occured with was the robusto size of the San Cristobal line. This is my second try with this line and the first time I wasn't impressed and now this, so I may give up on em. When I first started smoking, I would buy the Cuesta Reys and this issue (besides taste) made me stop buying them.
Thanks gang!
