Make sure you get one that bolts into something (wall, floor, etc), or they'll just steal the whole safe and crack it later.

Well I shop at Costco so.... pretty big!
Nice!

So it's a win-win then... Costco sells safes so just buy one there when you're buying your next batch of Viagra. :)

I've been looking into the ones at Costco too as I want to buy one but haven't done any research yet. I know the ones at Costco in my area are the brand name safes so I imagine just find one in the size/features you prefer and go for it.

I recommend the "Fort Knox" brand..

I have this brand in the Defender series. I looked long and hard for safes and settled on this brand. It has one of the best fire ratings (90 minutes at 1400-1600 degrees), has a lifetime warranty, and wasn't crazy expensive. I looked at ones from Costco, Sportsmans Warehouse, the Liberty, Brand, etc and they don't match the specs. If you're putting it in your basement, you probably don't need to bolt it down. Mine is in my basement and with everything in it, it probably weighs over 1000 lbs, so I didn't have the installers bother bolting it. If its in your garage, that's a different story.

It's completely configurable to what I want with the racks and shelves. My dealer was top notch, put titanium plates down to protect my floors, and made sure my staircase could handle a half ton of men and equipment going down it.

Regards,
Randy

Will you be putting cash in it frequently or just general valuables? You can pick up a drop safe pretty cheap and they weight a flippin ton sooo...
