I was making my own BBQ sauce for a while, kinda stopped doing that.

Hot sauce, Emirl actually makes a good one. It is sweet and hot all at the same time.

All I use are Pimp Spices, ok not really, but thats funny

Hot suace is usually Tabasco or Frank's Red Hot.

BBQ is usually what's on sale. I do make my own for special ocassions tho. Should do it for all the time.

Frank's Hot Sauce

I like the "HOT" BBQ sauce at "BBQ Country" although they are tough to find

I collect hot sauce as one of my hobbies. Currently 315 bottles. My favorite is Cholula's for every day. BBQ sauce I make my own.

Tabasco Habanero is the only hot sauce thats worth a crap. If you want the flavor try Cholula's it has a wooden cap. It's not hot, but has tons of flavor. I put it on just about everthing.

AMEN!.... If someone didn't say Cholula I'd Quit!.. I hear Cholula has a new Flavor out also, haven't seen it yet (In Michigan) but I'm thinking Texas might have it now....

For hot sauce, I like Tapatio the best.

For BBQ, I usually make my own marinade and then skip the sauce. When you guys say you make your own, do you mean from scratch or mixing a few & adding spices, etc.?

I usually start with tomato paste (or even ketchup) as the base and then move on from there by adding vinegar, sometimes mustard, maybe honey, possibly molassass or hoisin sauce, maybe some bourbon or rum, peppers (jalepeno or habenero), garlic, spices such as oregano cinnamon, nutmeg may be added too, and I can go on and on, but it depends on what flavor I'm looking for and/or what ingredients I have available.

Usually make my own bbq sauce using Woody's as a base. As far as hot sauce Cholula has a nice flavor but is too mild. For that type of sauce I like Tabasco or Tabasco Habanero. There used to be a Garlic Tabasco that had a nice flavor.
