How many years have you been smoking cigars?

I used to smoke Backwoods when I went hunting in my late teens/early 20's but I quit and after quitting cigarettes in 1986 I'd only had two cigars since. Until last October that is... then it started...

I clicked on 15+, but that's maybe misleading. I used to smoke cigars from the mid-60's through the mid-70's. Then I quit completely for 25 years, starting again in 2000. So, all together, that's 15 years or so, but not consecutively.

I had my first cigar in Saudi Arabia, on February 28th 1991, (the day after my 20th birthday). It was a good cigar, my crew chief bought it off of a guy that had a small bus that had a bunch of cheap souvenirs as well as glass jars full of cigars. It was fucking GOOD.......

The vendor claimed it was Cuban, but I wouldn't have known.

I had smoked a couple of swisher sweet cigars before that, and a couple after that day.

But it wasn't until 2004 when my room mate introduced me to hand made cigars, that I fell down the rabbit hole.

I loved falling down the rabbit hole, things got "curiouser and curiouser".
