What a great fraternity we have as brothers of the leaf! I built a cigar lounge out of one of the bays on my three car garage. It is a simple affair, I framed the walls and put up wall board but have yet to tape after three years. I put in a door and an exhaust fan. It is decorated with a nice thow rug, a cou[le of old ice chest end tables and antique humidor table, Stinky & Casa Fuente ash trays, lots of cigar art, two recliners, 42 inch plasma and surround sound, I often just open the old garage door exposing me to the street at night. While sitting here smoking a Mag 46 and on line a guys walks up off the sidewalk. Lo and behold he is smoking a cigar, shakes my had and says, "man this is great....your my hero". We atlk a few minutes about cigars and he has to go but promises to drop by in a few nights for a smoke. This guy lives a few blocks away and we would have probably never have met he he had not smelled the aroma of my cigar. Graet stuff
With all the negative experiences I have had with people and my cigars, this made me think about all the great people I have met thanks to this little hobby. Of course there is all the people on BOTL that I have met on line and in person. The man from Maine on my recent cruise and too many others to count.
Tell us about your most interesting or unlikely meeting of a fellow cigar smoker!
