Humidor humidity problem

On the kitty litter thing I have been trying to find a thread that has the instructions on how to set it up but not much luck. could you help me with that ? thanks

Hey the fragrance free version of thus. ..must be fragrance free

Put a pound or so in a small tupperware or coffin. Just make sure it's ventilated. ..holes in lid, no lid etc

Spray with distilled water. Just a few sprays. Leave in cooler/humi overnight with hygrometer. Check hygrometer next day. If low still add a spray or two and wait again. Repeat until right.


Once at desired rh...add sticks

I use the gel from famous in my desktops, and in a pinch to boost the humidity if it's low I'll throw water in the gel.
Recently I have been using some solution called griffo to refill the gel.
I don't trust the foam at all haha.
But for over a year I used tap water in the gel and if it really got low I put a shot glass in the box for a couple days and tried to keep it closed.
That worked for me and my boxes are at 68 and 72 right now.

Yeah don't do like me and after three times of unsuccessfull few spray do several in one shot or you will end up with the opposite problem!!
