It's going to be real bad for the economy of MS because almost all of southern MS (Biloxi) was built on Casino revenue, etc. So they'll be crippled until they get rebuilt.

I heard the mayor talk about how all the coastal casinos are virtually sitting on huge barges, as required by the city when the first approved them. Could you imagine one of those casinos floating away? :bigeyes:

This is going to affect the entire US economy ... not only for the millions in damage to local cities, but damage to refineries and off shore oil rigs. Get ready for a big price spike at the pump next week.

My prayers out to those affected. Hopefully there will be no loss of life since the preparation time was significant.
