Same here. I like the palio, but I love the SAK.99% of my cigars are cut by a SAK
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Bro I thought the same thing, that the Palio looked cheap. Buy after using one several time, It cuts better than my Xikar cutter. I havent tried a SAK but I would go with a Xikar or a Palio. The Palio is actually very solid and well constructed. They are a lot heavier than you would think too. I was really impressed with Palio.I keep hearing about how good the Palio's cut but I just can't get past the looks of them. I think they look relatively cheap and light. Why can't Palio put that blade in a all stainless steal model instead of a peace of plastic? Are there any other cutters worth trying besides the Xikar and Zino?
I got that one except mine is silver handles. I also have the deluxe version that has the leather inserts in the handes. I wish I could find one of the original models that only had the cigar scissors and the blade. That would make it a little less bulky, but I have not had any luck. I missed one on ebad once. It was used and I was not sure about the condition so I let it pass me by.Scissors.
I wouldn't want a punch to my SAK. (tee-hee)
Really tho, like this:

I've used it before. I actually have the lighter to go with this and will be picking this up as well just to have the matching set. I would say the palio cuts a lot better as those two blades are that lambo one are springy on each side.Has anyone heard of these? http://www.heartfeltindustries.com/proddetail.asp?prod=TNF001000
