  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Im sorry Pete!

Well yesterday I had the la Verite and all i can say is thank you for the generosity. It wasn't bad it just wasn't great. And for the price I don't think I'll be running to get them. Thank you again for the hookup I do appreciate the oppurtinity to try a stick before its even released. I do consider myself a Tat whore but I think this 1 missed the mark. Ill add more later once I'm off the iphone.
Edit:
So I lit it up on Fri and enjoyed the experiance. It just didnt blow me away. I will say one thing it had a great burn and a very white long 2+ inch ash. I still enjoyed this cigar I just cant see paying what the future prices are going to be set at. His the pic of the ash.

This is actually the second label L'esprit de Verite. It will come in on futures for around $13. Not a problem brother. This is a totally different cigar compared to my other ones.

Hey Justin, that's the cool thing about cigars, although this one wasn't your cup O tea, it may be someone elses favorite. Coke/Pepsi - Ford/Chevy, different strokes for different folks. Hey, at least you got to try one right!

Look at it this way . You had a shot at a cigar before the rest of the world to see if you liked it or not and it came from a good brother. So thanks to you both always good hear about new stuff.

Everyone's tastes are different, that is the beauty of cigars :)

Having said that, I hope I love it when I burn mine tonight :)

First off, thanks Pete, for give some of us to try the stick.

While it is not my favorite Tatuaje, it was a good smoke. I did find it alittle on the mild side for my taste. That being said, at $13 each, I will pick up a box.

I have like most others a 10 or so boxes of my mans smokes in my humi. Which I think qualifies me a BOTL Tatwhore. He with out a doubt is my favorite cigar maker. I thought he would of appreciated the honesty, and also thank him for the opportunity and experience. So thats what i did. 13 doesnt sound so bad for this smoke as to the numbers like 18 and 25 out of the new cigar insider.
Sorry for the honesty.

Thanks for the review Justin. Nothing wrong with total honesty man! Keep em coming. I've only had the pleasure of one Tat, but Altercall gave me another, and it's sitting in the Humi waiting for me to light it up!

Trust me, I like the honesty. Just makes me to try harder.
Also the cigar you smoked was like doing a barrel sample at a winery. A way to see the potential of the product but not tasting the finished work.

Ok, I was thinking on having mine to celebrate once me course is over; but how long do ye suggest these age? (I will still smoke mine in 11 days; just wondering for if and when I get more)
