I was wondering what percentage of your purchases are in your local shop(s) vs. buying from online retailers.

I haven't purchased a cigar at any local shop since my transition was completed.

All online, all the time. (and I really mean ALL the time.)

I don't have a shop in the town I live in but some of the neighboring towns do. When I can I like to stop in those just to check out what's new in the world of NC's and shoot the breeze with the owners and people hanging around. While there I will usually pick up a couple Don Carlos or something just because I'm there. The majority of NC's that I have were purchased online.

Domestic or cubans, 100% online....Even when I go to the brick & mortar, I'll bring my stash of cubans.

Pretty much all online...I just don't have that many B&Ms around close by and I don't tend to be buying much my local guys can supply.

Even when I was, I just can't bring myself to spend the kind of money they have to charge. Once and a while I'd come across a premium that I wanted to try and grab it, but that's about it (Padron Anni, Opus, that kind of thing).

I was thinking for NC purchases only since I'm in the US. I was asking mostly because I was wondering if the local shop with the knowledgable guy behind the counter is on its way out. It is hard to beat the prices at the auction sites or other popular websites.

The only time I go into a B&M is when I am on vacation. I always try to hunt down a couple shops just to see what they are like. Other than that everything is online.

We have a couple local shops here ... and while I'd like to be able to go in, browse, make some choices, sit and smoke ... the fact that the tobacco taxes have made their prices 100% higher than online has pretty much made my choice for me.

I'd also not feel right - just going into their shop and bringing my own smokes.

The only shop around here I might frequent is also a Cigar Bar, so I'd feel fine bringing my own in. So long as I buy something to drink I can still support them.
