  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

It sounds like everyone has their own definition of "inexpensive." For me, it's a lot less than many of the guys here. Lately, I've been smoking Punch Champions, which at $4.60 I don't consider inexpensive. And I'm far from finished by the time I get back from walking the dog, which is my main smoking time.

Recently I've tried Punch London Club, which at $1.79 apiece is what I call inexpensive. Not as smooth or long-burning as the Champions, but good enough to satisfy me and my wallet as well.
Brother, you could be saving a lot of money without switching smokes. JRcigar sells the Punch Champion for $62 a box, or about $2.50 a cigar and you get a set of punch pilsner glasses with the purchase. Or you could smoke the Punch Rothschild (a better cigar for dogwalking IMHO) for $2.14 per if you buy a box of 50.

Thanks -- I don't remember if I ever tried the Rothschilds or not. Want to meet one night to walk the dogs?

Fumadores by Pepin. I recently became a believer. :)
Some of my cheap go to's that I really love are as follows:
Fumadores
Flor De Olivas
and recently, although a touch more pricey (around $4/stick), the Ambos Mundos... All great sticks for the $$.

I think the last time I smoked one was longer than that.. I would guess its been close to a year. I'll be smoking one at lunch tomorrow.

My cheapie go-to is usually a JR Alternative. They are rather inexpensive, and for the price, taste damn near the same (in my opinion at least). Currently, I got a box of 20 "Punch Rothschild" for $28 bucks. For a $1.40 a stick, I'm satisfied.
