I walked into my local tonight and these just came in, so I grabbed a couple. They were only $6.50 a pop! Why was I under the impression these were $25 a stick? Anyways, I was going to try one probably tonight after a Verocu tubo. Anyone else try these yet?

Is it remotely possible that the shop messed up pricing these. Everything i've seen/read about these does have them at a price point of approx $15-20/stick.

nope, I had a few at 7.25... seems to be the going price for the Jaime stick.

There was one in the pack for the Texas Cigar Fest. I smoked it first and enjoyed it.

According to Janny,

The original Jaime Reserva was produced for Cigar Inn during the event last year. They received so many call asking for the stick to be produced that they decided to do a regular line. Thus what you found at Casa.

Miami received the production last week and began shipping them out..

I believe you are thinking of the other stick that's coming out from them. The one Pepin is rolling himself. Rumor has it that is going to be in the $20-25 range.

It is fine

Guys, the price is what I was told BEFORE they were released, obviously, anything can happen between then and now

If they are actually selling for $7ish, I will make a note on the review....Is that price confirmed? (ie, are we sure it is the same stick?)

if i can recall right, when the event happened i was talking to jaime regarding the sticks and he said he planned to release the stick but it wasnt going to be the same stick that he had at the event. These must be those.
