It's not about it being "ok," there are lots of things on here that could be considered offensive to someone.

If you get rid of anything that could be considered offensive, then half the general forum would go away.

Do a search for terrorist, there are no less than 4 pages of results that come up. Most people would argue that we should not throw that word around so lightly, yet we do. That could very easily offend many people, but because no one complains, so it is ok.

yeah, getting away with something does not make it right. community standards makes it right, or wrong. kinda. too big to get into now.

anyway, i think that the "terrorist" posts flew because, as a community, you all treat each other like family, with an underlying trust. you may not LIKE your family all the time, but still they are family.

i see the pic as a lambast against the trend to try to find theistic manifestations in odd places, and use a faux faith, ie "15 minute christians", to garner cheap attention. "mary came too me in my crumpet! i am saved!" we have seen this too much, and you can only try to laugh at the attempt, ESPECIALLY if you have faith.

if you are offended by this, and hopefully all the stories like this that pop up, good: your sense of faith is deep and personal, and will carry you through. and will not be effected by a little humor. i think this one was aimed not at the pulpit, but at the pews, and you have to laugh at your own and your fellow's behavior from time to time.

this is a cigar website and we are supposed to consider one another as brothers. If even one is personally offended, it should be removed whatever it is.

I have no intention of being part of a group that will consider offending someone as "ok".

If you don't like it move along. There is a ton of sh!t on here that is offensive. People need to man up and go to a different thread.

It's definitely controversial, and offensive. I wonder, however... does it still constitute a miracle?

According to your sensibilities then I should be able to take a photo of maybe your wife, GF, mother, grandmother, or somebody who is very important to you and then photoshop it into the rectum of an animal and then poke fun at it...that doesn't bother you then? Your total lack of respect for Deity is appalling and to play it off as a "joke" is equally offensive. This has nothing to do with "manning up"...this isn't a sport by where we take something that is fundamentally important to many people and making fun of Jesus is ignorance of the extreme. You personally wouldn't like it if someone you loved had their image pasted like this so quit being a hypocrite and advising the rest of us to sit on our hands and not say anything about how this is offensive. This is supposed to be a place where men gather and talk about cigars instead of looking for ways to slam or step on others beliefs.
