Gentleman,
I just happened upon these posts.
First, let me say that I totally take responsibility for the long wait time. In my first couple of years I got so many orders so fast and I should have cut them off. I didn't, and that was my bad.
Yes, this kept me incredibly busy. I left my full time employment to begin operating my pipe making business full time. I had a ton of work to catch up on. I was extremely flattered that so many would want my pipes.
Regarding communication, I ALWAYS answered emails that I ACTUALLY received. I also sent numerous emails...even including custom videos of me explaining what was going on with my list and wait time.
I did stop taking orders in September of last year in order to completely catch up with my orders...which has been done. I have begun taking orders again...BUT...on a limited time and number basis (I learned my lesson).
I am humbled at the rave reviews I have received on my pipes...see the testimonies on my website...www.joecasepipes.com. I also know there will be an unhappy and vocal customer...any business has that.
Again, I apologize for the past wait time. I just hope (as MANY told me) it was worth the wait.
Sincerely,
Joe Case

7months, ouch. Does he take full payment up front of time of order?
I have a buddy that has a Joe Case poker, he is some what happy with it.
Joe has done a good job of building up a very hyped name when it comes to his pokers, seems like he has a few years of backed up orders.

Have either one of you guys received your pipes yet?
Hey bro...never was "a few years of backed up orders". It was a long wait. See my post.

Joe, head over to intros and introduce yourself. It's nice to see pipe makers and tobacco industry guys on here.
Only you would know exactly how far out you are, or were sitting on orders. Perhaps "years" is a bit out of context.
In reality it is good to see you have kept so busy with your pipes, more so your pokers. So much to the point there is such a demand and list to get your pipes.
From your business side of things that's a good thing, demand is a good thing no?
Anyway hope you stick around the forums, keep on making those pipes.
