Thanks! Missed about 6 weeks of work, but no broken bones. I do have a big jagged scar on my forehead as a daily reminder of how lucky I was.

I have a 2007 Honda ST 1300 ABS. You didn't say how long you have been riding. If this is your first bike I HIGHLY recommend Motorcycle Safety Foundation training course. I had been an instructor for 8 years. I have over 120K miles on MC's. I took the rider safety course with my wife to make her a good passenger and was so impressed with it, I became a coach. If you have any questions, give me a shout!

Sweet bike man. I've heard the 250-300's are great started bikes as the 750's plus sport bikes can have a ton of torque which can be dangerous for first time riders. I've wanted one for a long time but waiting till I move to a more rural area.

Love sport riding. Best tip I can give is to learn counter-steering. Wear all your gear, and have fun!

I second this! I learned a lot when I took it.! The 300s are sharp! I played around on one of the newer 250 s for a few rides. It was fun but not near as fast as my yzf600r was. It would have been really fun on a track though
