The container of distilled water is your problem. That will cause over-humidification in a cooler. If you have beads you should have no reason to put that in there.

I have beads. And when the humidity is too low I put a container with a little bit of distilled water in.
The container of beads should only need to be stritzed lightly with water, maybe 1-2 times per month...if even that often. I would also never put a bowl of water in the same container as the cigars. Your cigars are absorbing that extra humidity before the beads are able to.

I've heard they used to get rid of the habanorrhea by putting the stick on the table then smashing it with the holy bible. You should try it and let everyone know so that we can know how to handle that same problem.
