Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
They should be. I say this having smoked through an entire box a few months back.I just had a breakfast lance for my first february lancero smoke. The Tatuaje El T. It was tasty, but I had nothing but burn issues with it. Tunneling, kept going out, it was just bad. I hope the rest of the Tat's from the lance sampler are a better experience .
I have one of those from a bomb-- how is it Bill? Can I play?
Real good, reminds me of a padronv64 in some ways.I have one of those from a bomb-- how is it Bill?
This was the only lance I could find at my B&M so it will be my first. Thanks for the great review.View attachment 58170
Oliva V Lancero
Honestly, this was the cigar that got me started loving the long skinnies. I was newbily shopping at the B&M and the helpful, but overly pushy dude that was working at the time, said try one of these. They are slim so they smoke fast. Well, I got home, sat down in the garage and was surprised by how fast it DIDNT smoke. I took my time and really enjoyed it and thought, "I could really get into this size". The rest was history. I made it my first box purchase and have been loving them ever since. 36ct box too.
It is a great LANCERO for folks 'curious' about the vitola and have enjoyed other Oliva offerings. Even for guys that have smoked a few Lanceros here and there, if you haven't tried the V, you should. It's a consistently great. Hope the long read didn't bore you too much.
A short review: Has all the power and body that the regular V line has. Great smoke output and one of my favorite overall aromas in an NC. Smoke time 1 hour 30 minutes. 90 rating any day of the week. Enjoy!
