Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Completely understood. I like a cigar with some good kick too. I never smoke less than medium strength and prefer a strong stick. Who doesn't like a good buzz to go along with the flavor profile lol? Hubner hasn't put anything out with any real kick too it, I've felt his sticks were all a solid medium through out his lines but his blends are tasty, burn well and like Stukibuilt said, he is a BOTL through and through, with great customer service to boot.I can see the error in my post. Thanks for getting me back in the ballpark, I didn't meant to be demeaning but I thought the flavor profile for me personally wasn't where I wanted it. I wanted just a little more kick
Agree with this 100%I think it's just as good as any other $10 cigar out there. I'd put this in my current top 10 NC's.
What til you see what happens when the FDA drops the hammer on our cigarsI can see the error in my post. Thanks for getting me back in the ballpark, I didn't meant to be demeaning but I thought the flavor profile for me personally wasn't where I wanted it. I wanted just a little more kick
Totally agree I really enjoy this cigar and would stack it up against many $10-12 cigarsI find $10 more than fair on these. I bought two boxes that says so![]()
Always enjoy your posts and it saves me taking up writing space when I read yours. Just to amplify a bit more as to what the Poster is talking about and I can appreciate the dilemma as to the cost of certain cigars esp. when they aren't in my wheelhouse of what I like. Nothing worse than spending good money on any product that tends to feel like you got taken and this occurs with everything in life and it's the smart person who will educate themselves before ever spending a dime on any product. For those who don't want to feel like they are being gouged or taken advantage of there are a few things to consider:Price shouldn't be based on how much kick the cigar has. Different palates have different preferences, and Huber & Co. seem to be targeting palates with an appreciation for medium strength and complexity.
I'd put the Las Calaveras against just about any $10 non-cuban out there right now. Personally, I think it stands up to almost any NC out there right now, regardless of price range.
