I'm hoping to get some updated info from you resident Las Vegas experts....

1) What are some of the best spots to smoke? (I'd rather not have to buy at most places as I've brought my own)

2) Can you recommend smoking allowed spots that would be tolerable for nonsmokers? (My group has some wives who don't mind a little smoke but don't want to be swallowed up in it)

3) Best restaurants to wear a suit to?

4) Best restaurants regardless?

5) Any other tips/must do/see places?

Thanks guys. I've got 5 days to fill.

From a non las vegan ... vegian... yeah anyway Generally you can smoke in areas and bars that they do not serve food in. I've actually never gon to a cigar specific place while in Vegas I just chill and smoke. Best spots I've hit while there are SW in the Wynn and Cut In the palazzo.

I just visited Las Vegas a few weeks ago for Spring Break. We went to Casa Fuente everyday to grab some smokes and drinks. I highly suggest smoking a Casa Fuente Lancero if you get a chance. Our group mainly visited buffets but we did go to Blue Mesa (Bobby Flay's restaurant) and it was kinda disappointing. Bachannal buffet in Caesar's Palace is a must visit in my opinion. Weekend brunch was $44 with unlimited mimosas and champagne and weekday brunch was $33~ with no complimentary alcohol.

3 hour and 58 minute drive for me and I go 6+ times a year.
Casa is cool, but for the non smokers in your group it will not work. I know from experience.
I smoke mainly in the casino. If you want to sit with a group of non smokers and enjoy a cocktail and smoke, then Rhumbar @ Mirage is the best place for it. Outsdie comfortable seating and a good spot to people watch.
Food is too many to list them all. My must haves when I go:
Breakfast at hash house a go go
The beef carpaccio at Olives in Bellagio
The giant Pretzel at NY NY sports bar
There are soooo many other great places to eat there from budget to dropping $500 on two people. When I do go to Vegas it's mainly to eat good food.

+1 to has house a-go-go, makes fat kids happy!

went to gordon ramsey steak in the paris for our anny (lady loves the show), and the food was amazing. more worth it for her joy, IMO, but i am a cheap bastard that doesn't do fine dining often (at all). that said, the food and the evening were worth it for me.

+1 for bacchanal, a buffet that serves actually GOOD food.

lobster me in PH mall, best food court food ever (lobster rolls and lobster mac).

and, yeah, smoke anywhere, but make a point to hit casa. people rock, bar is killer, and their coffee is damn good.

My favorite place to chill and smoke is the Circle Bar in the Palazzo. Great waitresses, big screen TVs, and LOTS of sights walking by.

Casa Fuente is a must-do once for the experience...and the mojitos.

Favorite food on the cheap--- Tacos El Gordo (near the Circus Circus)....spicy pork mulas (think a taco sandwich) are to die for.

Lol I have a feeling others have been joining in. I guess its "his thing." But, spam is spam.

For general smoke shop overall, I've heard Casa is hard to beat. But, it's not so much a place for non-smokers.

Fine dining: Joel Robuchon MGM, Guy Savoy Caesars, Le Cirque Bellagio, Aureole Mandalay Bay

Steak: SW Wynn, Craftsteak MGM, Gordon Ramsay Paris

Like everyone said, Casa Fuente is the best. Since it's in the forum shops the nonsmokers can go shopping. I was just there earlier this month and the outside smoking area is closed while they sort out their legal problems with being in a mall. Good luck, I hope you have a great time.

Rhumbar and Casa Fuente. Rhumbar is outside seating and some indoor seating. This time of year it is perfect to sit outside.

I would need more info on what food you are looking for to give a suggestion.

Picasso at Bellagio is the best French restaurant, ate there a couple months ago. Best Italian is Il Mulino Forum Shops also recently had dinner there. Many good restaurants for steak, just take your pick, my new favorite is Gordon Ramseys. Picasso is a suit place for sure, this time of year you can sit outside and over look the fountains. Can't go wrong with Smith and Wollenskys either.
