  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

They were available yesterday at Cigars at your price.com

I think quite a few retailers have them back in stock now....are you having trouble finding them?

Better price can be had at their "companion" site, Cigars International.

click this link first to get free shipping: http://www.cigarsintl.com/freespa
(you will see a blue "free shipping banner" toward the top of the page)

Then go here: http://www.cigarsinternational.com/html/OfferDetails.asp?kc=CI0034
to see how to apply the "CICCRAZY10" code and get 10% off your order.

Then finally... buy the cigars here: http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=CS-LPC&cat=3

No idea how that compares to other vendors offhand - just comparing CI and cigars.com

#9s are tougher to find due to lower production recently (had some crop issues). But they are back in production now so there should be plenty in about 6 months.

One of the reps during the Drew Estate event at Outlaw said they lost a few crops of wrapper leaf and so the #9 would be getting a little scarce. Not a big worry to me as I like both the #9 and T52.

Dan
It's a bit more in-depth than that. The farmers in Connecticut that provide the wrapper leaf for the No.9 actually only lost part of their crops. They then filed insurance claims, which is on the entire crop/field, got paid out and the good leaf that wasn't damaged got plowed under. I'm a little hazy on if the way the crop insurance works is an all-or-nothing deal or they made that choice to go 100%. Either way, it really fucked Jon over.

A Nicaraguan tobacco farm by contrast, will continue to grow and then sell whatever wasn't wiped out.
