I tried this once and the one piece of advice I can give you is this: NEVER, under any cicumstances, should you try this in a vehicle. Someday I'll tell the story of the wide-eyed little girl in the car next to me that saw the stupid man playing with fire while driving. Believe me, it wasn't pretty. :hammersma

I have never used cedar strips. I use my torch for most of the time, or wood matches if I am on the road traveling.
